I haven't really been doing much drawing lately, but thought you might like to see some of my ATC's that I was doing before I had heard the concept of Zentangle. Black and White was something that I have always loved to do, and mosaic type of ensembles as well. Interesting I think.
Hope everyone is having a nice time getting ready for the festive celebrations and remembering to take some time out for yourself to be creative.
Happy tangling for now ... Jane x
Looks like you were ahead of the game. You're ATC's are awesome. You were doing Zentangle before you even knew it. LOL!!
ReplyDeleteLovely Jane! Agree with Carol. I wish I could see them in more detail but I can only get quite a small image. Happy holidays to you (in SUMMER, which would be very weird for me!) :-)

Beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteBingo!you've proven what I've been saying for a long time....this type of art has been around beofre anyone ever heard of Zentangle. I've tried to write, and re-write this comment for a long time, and it always comes out sounding a bit condescending....really,that is NOT my intent. (It's hard to know the intended "tone" of a post) I have examples of this kind of work from the '70's. Kudos to the people who beat us to the punch, gave it a name, are certifying teachers, and are profiting from it. Why didnt I (we) think of that? I sincerely dont understand what the difference is between what we have been doing for years, and the whole trademarked,"certified" registered "Zentangle" phenomena. Can you explain this to me? I really want to understand this.
