ReplyDeleteI have been quilting for over a decade and FMQing for a few years. I just discovered Zwentangle this year Whle I was cruising the net looking for continuous line patterns for quilting. The combination is perfect! A lot of Susan Day's designs are really pretty 'zentangley'. I would love to finish more quilts since I am a serial piecer that never seems to have/make time to actually quilt finished tops! This set of fabulous orizes would sure help with that!

Hi Jane, I (too!) fell head over heels with Zentangle when your DVD came out, it was so enjoyable, stimulating yet relaxing too, if that makes sense! But I haven't yet taken the step to quilting with it, so I think the gloves, thread & erasable pen would go a long way to starting me on the right pathway.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed for this pack as I haven't tried zentangling on a 'real' tile yet either.
Thanks heaps for spreading your knowledge via the DVD (I loved it!!) & your blog. Tania.
Oh my goodness you have combined Zentangle with quilting!

ReplyDeleteYour work is in both of my favorite mode of art, quilting and zentangle. I would play with some quilt blocks of tangles and of course tangle on the tiles. They would be my first tiles as I have been tangling in journals and stuff.
